Did this end your friendship with MW? Have you since talked to her..
MW and I have NEVER been the same since this happened. We tried to stay friends for awhile but it was strained and tense.
It has probably been a year, maybe more, since I have talked to her. I feel bad and have often thought I should try to reconnect with her but am unsure quite what to say.
I would try to start by saying... Its been a long time but I want to appologize I didn't see things your way 11 years ago...
Just tell her by saying how sorry you are. I know how you feel though. I still haven't talked to some of the people I "let down" while being married to d-bag. I'm still ashamed and embarassed even though it wasn't my fault.
